VMPNS Community Volunteer Fair

We are very excited to announce that we are hosting a VMPNS Community Volunteer Fair in partnership with the Halifax Volunteer Conference. 

We we will be holding 20 free spaces and early-bird registration for VMPNS members.  Members must register by September 6, 2019. Spaces will be given on a first-come basis.

Registration for non-members will open later in September for a fee (TBD).

Halifax Volunteer Conference

The conference is a celebration of the tremendous contributions of the volunteers in the region. It gives citizens an opportunity to participate in training, networking and learning that help them become more effective in their work and provide strong volunteer capacity in the municipality. 
Each year the conference includes:

Volunteer Management Hybrid Conference - The Future is Now

Meeting Host: VMPNS

Details: ‘The Future is Now’ is a volunteer management conference presented by AL!VE, Better Impact, and VMPC.  Now in its fifth year, this year's topic will explore how leaders of volunteers can move from managing to LEADING.  Our current streaming event will consist of a 30 minute presentation followed by a moderated discussion with the other presenters (think TED talk meets late night tv), including responding to questions from the audience.

This year’s presenter lineup includes: Rob Jackson, Liza J. Dyer, CVA, Amira Barger, CVA, and Erin Spink, CVA. The session will be hosted and moderated by Dana Litwin, CVA.
